Reports that this break was due a dip in popularity after an incident involving pantyhose, a shot glass, and a "shocking, horrifying, and egregiously unnecessary" performance of Madonna's Deeper And Deeper are exaggerated, only partially true, and strenuously denied.

Twenty years later, against all medical and legal advice, she has made a triumphant return to the stage in Halifax, showcasing her unique brand of absurdity and her habit of ignoring court orders.
